Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Hospice North Hastings, Bancroft, on Saturday, December 11, 2010. Muriel (Chamberlain) Brethour, age 67, of Bancroft, was the beloved wife of the late Emerson Brethour (2004). Loving mother of Christine Brethour of Peterborough, Steve Brethour and his wife Angie of Hamilton, Cindy Welsh and her husband Mark of Bancroft, Sheryl York and her husband Dwayne of Ajax, and Kevin Brethour and his wife Theresa of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Jennifer, Mary, Lauryn, Karena, Emily, Elisha, Henry and Ethan. Loved daughter of Violet (Holbrook) and the late Henry Chamberlain. Sister of Wayne Chamberlain and his wife Rosemary, Harold Chamberlain and his wife Karen, Aileen Mountney and her husband Lloyd, and the late Ronald Chamberlain and his wife Gail Robinson. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Muriel’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Community Fellowship Baptist Church (Hwy 62N., Bird’s Creek) on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 from 11:00 – 12:00 Noon. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon, with Pastor Wes Hill officiating. Interment, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bancroft.
