Passed away peacefully, at her home in Toronto, with her family and friends at her side, on Friday, August 20, 2010. Linda Minnie, age 64, was the beloved mother of Brent (Jeannie), Robert, Wanita (Joe), and Brenda (Jerome). Loving grandmother of Jessica. Scott, Michael, Michelle, Andrew, Daniel, Stephanie, Brittney and Wyette. Great-grandmother of Markus. Linda was the daughter of the late Herman and Mary Pearl (Valier) Nieman. Loved sister of Graham (Dorothy), Gordon (Rose), Bessie (Earl), Ruby (Wendall), Shirley, Milton (Anne), Helen, Emily (Doug), Faye (Paul), Ray (Joan), Greg, and Jerry (Rosaline). Predeceased by her sister June Marie (Elmer). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has already taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. Linda’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Rd., Maynooth), on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. Transfer will then be made to Christ Lutheran Church (Hwy 62N, Maynooth) where a Celebration of Linda’s Life will take place at 1:30 p.m. with The Rev. Carey Meadows officiating. Interment of Linda’s Ashes will take place at Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery.
