Peacefully, at the Hastings Centennial Manor, Bancroft, on Monday, May 10, 2010. Florence (Gogolin) Neumann, age 86, was born in Palmer Rapids, and was the daughter of Henry Gogolin and Annie Hartwick. Beloved wife of the late Henry (Hank) Neuman (1986). Mourning her passing are her children; Evangeline Mayhew (Bob) of Bancroft, Dwayne Neuman (Wava) of Belleville and Bryden Neuman (Lea) of Stirling. Loved grandmother of Paul Mayhew (Nancy), Jonathan (Daniela), Karen Wiechenthal (Sheldon), Randy Neuman, Meghan Neuman, Amanda Neuman and Katelyn Neuman. Great-grandmother of Colin, Ethan, Brayden, Santiago, Dalton, Brennen, Caleb, and Siera. Loving sister of Zelma Edgar of Ottawa. Predeceased by her 6 sisters and 4 brothers. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Florence’s family received relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Rd., Maynooth), on Wednesday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service for Florence took place at Christ Lutheran Church (Hwy 62 & Church Rd., Maple Leaf) on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Carey Meadows-Helmer officiating. Interment, Christ Lutheran Cemetery. Pall Bearers were her grandchildren Paul Mayhew, Karen Wiechental, Randy Neuman, Meghan Neuman, Amanda Neuman, Katelyn Neuman, Jonathan Mayhew and Brennen Wiechental. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Christ Lutheran Church, or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
