Veteran of World War II 1939-1946 Passed away with dignity at the age of 92, on Thursday March 18, 2010 at the Quinte Health Care, Belleville General Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Pauline Boileau. He will be greatly missed by Gisele of Belleville. Much loved father of Robert Polson (Carmela), Kathleen Polson, Alisdair Henderson (Elizabeth). Devoted grandfather of Jennifer, Jason, Brooke, Zachary, Anna, and Eilidh. Loved brother of Lillie McKeen, Lloyd Polson (Jean), and Kathryn MacHattie (Stubbard). Special thanks to the caring staff at Belleville General Hospital. Visitation will take place at Eastminister United Church (432 Bridge St. E., Belleville) on Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. A celebration of Robert’s life, followed by a reception, will follow at 12:00 noon. On April 2, 2010 a funeral service will be held in Montreal at Mount Royal Cemetery, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont.
