In Loving Memory of Linda Gail Vardy August 19, 1947 - September 18, 2026 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Linda, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Linda was a woman whose strength, kindness, unwavering faith and loving heart touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Linda was a loving and supportive Mother to Richard (Linda), Tammy (Bruce), Cindy (Tom), Tina (Gene), a proud and cherished Grandmother to Megan, Andrew, Jessica, Abigail, Ethan, Andra, Amber and great-grandmother to Amelia. Linda was the loving wife of Gordon (predeceased) and their bond was one that time could never erase. There is comfort in knowing that they are together again--two hearts reunited for eternity. Linda leaves behind a legacy of love that will carry on through her children and grandchildren and all the lives she touched. She will be forever loved, forever missed and never forgotten. Cremation has taken place. Linda’s family will receive relatives and friends at Mount Zion Church (28 Weslemkoon Lake Road, Gilmour) on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Glenn Officiating. Interment at Gilmour Cemetery, Gilmour. As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice North Hastings in Bancroft, or The Heart of Hastings Hospice in Madoc, would be appreciated by the family.
