It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Douglas Townsend, who passed away on August 25, 2026, following a long and difficult illness. He leaves behind his wife of nearly 50 years, Elane Townsend; his sons, Jeremy (Amber) and Joshua; his daughter, Jocelyn; and his grandchildren, Avila and Jaycee, along with extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Jason. Throughout his life, he enjoyed fishing and spending time on the water. Those who knew him will carry their own memories and stories of the time they shared with him. His life was one of many chapters, and his passing brings a time of reflection for all those he leaves behind. After a difficult final battle, we hope he has found peace and that, somewhere, somehow, he has been reunited with Jason. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral service.
