The Family of Helen Beatrice (Gunter) McMurray are saddened to announce her passing on Monday, July 13, 2026 at the age of 88 years. She is predeceased by her late husband Richard (Dick) McMurray. Mother to Gail (Mark), Ron (Holly), Don (Dana) and Daughter in law Barb. Loving Grandmother of Patty, Candace (Lance), Jesse (Sonia), Justin (Sophie), Kaitlyn (River), Dylan, Deidre, Matthew and Mitchel. Great Grandmother of Conner, Colt, Winter, Hazel, Ezra, Hudson, Maple and Jericho. Helen is a sister to Clarence and Carol (Cal). Helen is predeceased by her son Dean; Granddaughter Sandra; Sister Myrtle (Les); Sister in law Jean & her Parents Edna and Allan Gunter. Visitation will be held at Mount Zion Church (42 Weslemkoon Lake Rd, Gilmour, ON) at 10:00 am on Saturday July 18, 2026. The funeral will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Dwight Dillabough officiating. Interment will follow at the Gilmour Cemetery. Attendants are invited by the family to the Mount Zion Campground, 2641 Weslemkoon Lake Rd, Tudor and Cashel, ON for refreshments following the interment.
