| Schofield, Karen |
Passed away at her home in Maple Leaf, on Wednesday, July 08, 2026. Karen Scholfield was the beloved spouse of Greg Hannah. Loving mother of Tony and his wife Chanel and loved grandmother of Kakashi. Karen will be fondly remembered by her family and many friends. Today we celebrate the life of an extraordinary woman, a sister, a mother, a life partner and a grandmother, whose love, laughter, wisdom, and kindness touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She embraced life with an open heart and an adventurous spirit, finding joy in both life’s grand milestones and its quiet everyday moments. Her smile had a way of brightening a room, her laughter was contagious, and her words of wisdom offered comfort, guidance, and strength to family and friends alike. She lived with grace, generosity, and an unwavering belief in the importance of love. Above all else, she cherished her family. She leaves behind the love of her life Greg Hannah, her devoted life partner whose partnership brought her immeasurable happiness and whose love was the foundation of a beautiful life together. She also leaves her beloved son Tony Schofield (Chanelle Rivet), who was one of her greatest sources of pride and joy, and her treasured grandchildren Kakashi and Hermione, whose lives were forever enriched by her unconditional love, gentle guidance, and countless cherished memories. Her legacy is not measured by the years she lived, but by the lives she touched. She taught those around her to face life’s challenges with courage, celebrate its blessings with gratitude, and always make room for laughter. Her compassion, strength, and quiet wisdom will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her. Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, we find comfort in remembering the countless moments of joy she gave us and the enduring love she leaves behind. Her spirit will live on in every store shared, every lesson remembered, every family gathering, and every act of kindness inspired by her example. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. May her memory continue to bring comfort, strength, and smiles to all whose lives she so beautifully touched.
