On June 14th our beloved mother passed away peacefully at home with loved ones and family surrounding her. She was a loving wife to the late William Boomhouer. A devoted mother to her children Leslie and Dave Levesque, J. R. Lewis, Ken and Shannon Johnson, Kim and Mark Hanna and Michael Boomhouer. She was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother whose love, guidance, and kindness will be deeply missed by all of her adopted children. Brenda’s greatest passion was helping others. She co-founded the Vet II Vet program in honor of her father and dedicated countless hours supporting veterans and their families. She also proudly volunteered with the Ladies’ Auxiliary at Wilberforce Legion Branch #624 and Bancroft Legion Branch #181 for more than 20 years. To Brenda, no one was a stranger. Everyone she met became family, and those fortunate enough to know her will always remember her generous heart, welcoming spirit, and the words she shared so often: “I love you to the moon and back.” Family and friends are invited to celebrate Brenda’s life on July 11th, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Lloyd Watson Center, 2249 Loop Rd., Wilberforce Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenda’s memory may be made to the Vet II Vet program, a cause that was very close to her heart. She leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, service, and compassion that will continue to live on in the many lives she touched. Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.
