Suddenly on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 with family by his side Bernie passed at the age of 89.  Born and raised in Hardwood Lake Ontario, Bernie was married to the love of his life, the late Darlene Liedtke (2020).  Brother of Glen (Rhoda) Liedtke. Brother-in-law of Darwin (Gail) Weichenthal, Jean (Raymond) Weichenthal, Delwin Weichenthal, Donna (Reg) Liedtke, Sherry (Wayne) Weichenthal-Aide.  He will also be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews.  Bernie will be fondly remembered for his kindness and his love of family, who have many memories of his gentle demeanor, love of music and sense of humour.  Bernie’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G.
