Passed peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Pine Meadow Nursing Home, Northbrook at the age of 71. Beloved partner of Allen Douglas. Loved Mother of Crystal. Sister of Debbie (Blehr), Louann (Ken) and Susan (Jeff). Diane loved her time hunting. fishing, gardening and working in the bush with Allen. At Pine Meadows she loved to dance, sing and people watch. We will remember her love of Christmas, her helpful ways and generous spirit before her mental illness took away her joy. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Diane’s life will take place at the Fort Stewart Community Centre (1702 Fort Stewart Road) on Saturday, May 02, 2026, from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Interment at New Carlow Cemetery will follow at 3:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
