Peacefully, at Hastings Centennial Manor, Bancroft, on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.  Daniel Jackson, age 92 of Bancroft, was the beloved husband of Thelma (Young) Jackson and the late Eva (Groombridge) Jackson.  Loving father of Richard Jackson and his wife Kim of Omemee.  Loved grandfather of Michela and Melissa.  Great-grandfather of Maya.  Fondly remembered by Thelma’s family, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends.  At Daniel’s request, cremation has taken place.  A Gathering of family and friends will take place at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Saturday, January 03, 2026, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to North Hastings Community Cupboard would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
