Muriel (Jean) Dillabough passed away peacefully at Hastings Centennial Manor on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Jean, age 95, was the beloved wife of the late Jim Dillabough. Loving mother of Maxine (Tony), (predeceased) Sherron (Rick), Cameron (Sharon), Angela (Mac), Thomas (Kendra), Shawna (Brian), and Della (Shawn). Grandmother of DJ, Brandon, (predeceased) Adele, Tonya, Michael, Crystal, Amanda, James, Jenna, Markus, Brandy, Julie, Cody, and Sara. Great-grandmother of Emery, Reid, Sawyer, Paige, Ashton, Peighton, Reese, Rebecca, Amber, CJ, (predeceased) Owen, Kristin, Jordan, Jackson, Bradley, Nathan, and Nevaeh. Fondly remembered by her extended family and many friends. Jean will be deeply missed and remembered for her loving, caring, nurturing personality, as well as the pride she took in the family she created. The root of the family has passed, but the tree that has flourished because of her will continue to remember, love, miss, and honour her. Jean’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Church (311 Hastings Street N., Bancroft) on Saturday, November 1st, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m., with cremation to follow. Interment Hermon Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations to Hastings Centennial Manor would be appreciated by the family.
