Passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Miramichi Lodge in Pembroke, ON at the age of 86. Loving father of Ken Deal (Julie Noffke) and Chris Deal (Debbie Davis). Loved grandfather of Jonathon Deal and Nicholas Collicott. He will be missed by his long-time friend and life companion Evelyn Jenvey. Ron is survived by his sister Mary Wilson of Midland. Previously married to Dianne Grozelle (Liddle). He will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Ron was born in Toronto and lived nearly 50 years in the Ottawa Valley where he retired from AECL in Chalk River, Ont. He also coached minor league hockey in the area for many years.
