It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carmel Leveque, who left us peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 76.  Born on July 13, 1948, in Whitney, Ontario, Carmel was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by her devoted sons, Jerry Leveque (Micheline) and Tim Leveque (Kelly), and her cherished granddaughters, Riana, Gabrielle, and Holly Leveque.  Carmel was predeceased by her parents, Jean and Harry Fuller; her brothers, Cam Fuller and Murray Fuller and her grandson, Sam Leveque, whose memory she held close to her heart.  Carmel is survived by her siblings, Angus Fuller (Verna), Myrna Etmanski (Leonard), Lois Kukhta and Danny Fuller (Reina), and by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.  Carmel’s love for her family was unwavering, and her quiet strength, gentle spirit, and kind heart touched everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, resilience, and love.  Carmel’s family will receive relatives and friends at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, Whitney, Ontario on Friday, May 30^th, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place after Mass at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Cemetery (McCoy Lake).  In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to St. Martin of Tours building fund or your local food bank. Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
