Peacefully, at Extendicare Haliburton, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Sandra Smith age 85 was the beloved wife of the late William Smith (2017). Loving mother of Mark Smith (Michelle), Mike Smith (Sherry), Jeff Smith (Shelley), and Cindy Baumhour (James). Loved grandmother of Steven (Erin), Kristy (Patrick), Ryan, Josh (Samantha), Dylan, Olivia and Tyson. Survived by 7 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her grandson Sean. Sister of Rick Slater (Deb), and Bill Slater (Wendy), and predeceased by her sister Marilyn. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. For over 35 years, Sandra and her husband Bill owned and operated Elephant Lake Lodge on Elephant Lake. She always made sure the cookie tins were full. Many thanks to the nurses and staff at Extendicare Haliburton for their love, care and support for mom. As per Sandra’s wishes there will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place.
