At the Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Sunday, April 20, 2025.  Carl Reid, age 86 of Bancroft, was the beloved husband of Mary (Leveque) Reid for 57 years.  Loved father of Steven (Yvette) Reid.  Loving grandfather of Selina.  Carl was the son of the late Milton and Bertha (Gaebel) Reid, and brother of Garnet Reid (Roberta), and Beth Trolley (David).  Predeceased by his many brothers and sisters.  Brother-in-law of Anne Hickey (Tom), Jerome Leveque (Gloria), Joan Fitzgerald (Eddie), Ann Leveque (Michael) and Phyllis Liebregts (Lawrence).  Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends.  Carl retired from General Motors Oshawa 32 years ago, he enjoyed hunting and winters in Florida, his artwork especially painting.  Cremation has taken place, with a Celebration of Life at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
