Suddenly at her home in Maynooth, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.  Luella Smith, age 87, was the beloved wife of the late Douglas Smith (2015).  Loving mother of Karen Marden (Glenn), David Smith (Josephine), Rodney Smith, and the late Kevin Smith (2021) (Kim Murphy).  Loved grandmother of Tyler (Alyssa), Drake, Alicia, Derek, Austin, Dylan (Katrina), and Hailey.  Great-grandmother of Kane.  Sister of Shirley (Cuthbert), Lorraine (Louis), Elvin (Diane) and the late James (Elizabeth), Gerald, Murray (Barbara), Vern (Marion), Audrey and Verna (Jim).  Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.  A private family gathering took place at the funeral home, followed by cremation. A Celebration of Life is planned in the spring, with interment at St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Bancroft.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to A Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
