It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Heide Elisabeth Hennig, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at Matthews House Hospice in Alliston, Ontario, after a brave battle with cancer. She was 86 years old. Heide was the loving wife of the late William Rudolph Hennig and a devoted mother to Thomas Hennig (Angie) and Jennifer Hennig (Aaron). She was also a beloved grandmother to Michael and Luca. Heide will always be remembered for her strength, grace, and the love she gave to her family. Cremation has taken place in accordance with her wishes. A funeral service will be held on March 15th, 2025, at Christ Lutheran Church, 9 Lutheran Church Rd, Maple Leaf, ON, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Randy Liedtke presiding. Interment in Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery, Maple Leaf, ON, to take place in the spring.
