Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke General Hospital on Aug 15, 2024, at the age of 85. Up until the end, Sophie maintained her strong-willed personality, love of family and wonderful sense of humour. Loving mother of Suzanne Williams. Pre-deceased by her daughter Claire McAuley and her son Bill O'Reilly. Loving Nanny to Mason Wager and Eve Wager. Sister of Chester Szczypciak. Loved aunt of Lori McAuley, Mike , Amy and Jessica O'Reilly, and Susan Pincoe. Pre-deceased by sisters Bertha, Helen, Irene and brothers Stanley, Johnny and Teddy. Cremation has taken place. At this time there will be no visitation or funeral services. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Alzheimers Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
