Peacefully, at the Lakeridge Health Services, Bowmanville Hospital, on Thursday, August 13, 2009. Marie Reid, age 70, was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Reid. Loving mother of Gary (April), Paul (Debbie), Jerry (Bonnie), Donna-Lea (Tracy), and Darla (Bill). Loved grandmother of Christal, Lisa, Chad, Becky, Matthew, Bobbi-Jo, Katie, Justin, Daniel, Nathan, Johnathan, Jaymie, Shelly and Shaun. Great-grandmother of Austin, Cory, Darryl, Alanna and two more on the way. Dear sister of Hilde Mooney. Daughter of the late Howard and Illa Kerr of Monck Road, and sister of the late Irene Evans and the late George Kerr. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Marie’s family will receive relatives and friends at St. Paul’s United Church (1 Hastings St. S., Bancroft) on Monday evening 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday morning 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at St. Paul’s United Church at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Lynn Watson officiating. Interment, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bancroft. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
