Peacefully, at her home in Bancroft, on Sunday June 16, 2024.  Clarice Smith age 68 of Bancroft, was the beloved wife of Steven Smith for 52 years.  Loving mother of Steven (Jennifer) Smith, Christine Smith, Lisa Stewart (Marc), Sadie Smith (Aaron Westerink).  Loved grandmother of   Robert, Jessica, Kodi, Brad, Catherine, James, Mary, Brianna, Madison, A.J., Jacob, and great-grandmother of Brian, Amy, and Opel.  Clarice was the loving daughter of Joan O’Reilly (Tom).  Sister and sister-in-law of Joanne (Kenneth), Ronnie (Anna), David (Sue), and Donna (Ken).  Predeceased by her father Ron Sniderman, her sister Diana Ward, and granddaughter Michelle.  Fondly remembered by her cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.  Clarice was the rock of her family, and had a heart of gold, with people and animals.  She was a tireless volunteer and vice-president of Home Again.  She will be greatly missed by her many cat friends, and her family.  Clarice’s family will receive family and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Visitation will also take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m.  A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. with cremation to follow.  Interment at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to Home Again would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
