Peacefully, at Madawaska Valley Hospice, Barry’s Bay, on Thursday, May 30, 2024. Marie Emond, age 83 of Barry’s Bay, formally of North Bay, was the beloved wife of the late Roger Emond. Loved sister of Kevin Brown (Kim) of Whitney. Predeceased by her parents Perly and Helen Brown, and her sister Barbara Matthews (Terry). Survived by her nieces Ashley and Erin, and her nephew Brenden. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service for Marie will take place in the Chapel of Champlain Gardens Retirement Home (9 Stafford St., Barry’s Bay) on Thursday, June 06, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. with The Rev. Wes Hill officiating. Interment of Marie’s Ashes will take place in North Bay, at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Madawaska Valley Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
