Peacefully, at Hastings Centennial Manor, Bancroft, on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Isabel York, age 98, was the beloved wife of the late Leonard York (2015). Loved sister of Edith Doney, Mary Schutt, and Lawrence Tomasini (Susan). Predeceased by her brother Angelo, her sisters Violet, Theresa, Eunice, Tena, her sisters-in-law Laura and Peggy, and her brothers-in-law Frank, Murray, Murrey, and Wesley. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and friends. Isabel was a life-long member of Our Lady of Mercy CWL. She loved her Church, her Faith, and the Rosary. She enjoyed euchre, gardening, and fishing. Isabel’s family will receive relatives and friends at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (196 Bridge St. W, Bancroft) on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 10-12 Noon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, at 12:00 Noon. Interment, Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, Bancroft.
