Peacefully, at Hastings Centennial Manor, Bancroft, on Thursday, May 09, 2024.  Lillian Currier, age 91, was the beloved wife of the late Joseph William Currier.  Loving mother of Paul Currier of Maynooth. Lillian was predeceased by her sons Michael and Christopher and her brother James Wright.  Survived by her daughter-in-law  Devika Currier, and her sister-in-law Patricia Wright.  Loving grandmother of Christina, Eric and David. Lillian was a loyal and dedicated employee of Simpson’s and The Hudson Bay Company in downtown Toronto. She started working there in 1963 and worked there until retirement in 1998.  At this time there will be no visitation or funeral services.  Cremation has taken place, with interment at St. John’s Norway Cemetery, Toronto, at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hastings-Prince Edward Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
