Wanda Foster passed away peacefully at Quinte Health Care North Hastings on Monday May 6, 2024, with her sister Heather by her side. Wanda was the biological daughter of Dale Maracle, of Kingston, ON (deceased 2016) and sister to Heather Sararas (Royce) of Bancroft, ON Wanda was the loving mother of Anthony and Megan Foster both of Bancroft On. Wanda was adopted at the age of 9 months and raised by Hans (deceased) and Ethel Koster. Wanda showed great strength and courage during her final days. Wanda’s children and siblings rallied by her bedside sharing memories and fond stories of the past. Wanda enjoyed special time with her sister Monica, whom she could depend on to share laughs and tears, as they had a very special bond. Wanda also enjoyed the daily visits from Mr. Donnie Taylor who offered compassion and caring during the difficult days. Wanda shared many memories with her siblings; Nathan (Laurie), Tim (Jeannine), Richard (Julie), Robert (Teresa), Monica (Nolan) and Sacha (Holly). Wanda will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family. Wanda’s family will receive relatives and friends at 729 Hybla Road, Bancroft, on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 1:00 -4:00 p.m. for a Celebration of her Life. Please bring lawn chairs.
