Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Quinte Health Care, North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Saturday, March 21, 2009. Kirk Mueller, age 65, was the beloved husband of Mary (Buzz) (Bateman) Mueller of Papineau Lake. Loved father of Steven (Brenda) and Karen (Henk). Loving grandfather of Jennah, Mitchell, Amanda, Jonathan, Kyle, Henry, Holly, Leah and James. Brother and brother-in-law of Eric (Debbie) Carl (Marylou), Wanda (Gerry), Joanne (Ken), Frank, Bill (Sue), John (Lynda) and Doug. Loved step-son of Grace Mueller. Son of the late Rev. Fred and Erna (Fischer) Mueller. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Kirk was a retired firefighter with the Department of National Defence, and will be missed by many friends across Canada. At Kirk’s request there will be no visitation. A private family service will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium.
