Celebration of Life May 13, 2023 Peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Peterborough, on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Maureen Cummings, age 69, was the beloved spouse of Steve Scally of Bancroft. Loving mother of Simon Cummings (Chungshik) and Adam Cummings (Efrain). Sister of John Cummings (Anna) and Trish Rosendahl (John). Fondly remembered by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Maureen was very active in the financial services industry and accounting. She served as a manager of a local credit union, was the first female President of the Bancroft Lions Club and was heavily involved with the Bancroft Chamber of Commerce and the Bancroft Rockhound Gemboree. She will be greatly missed by all. Cremation has taken place. Maureen’s family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wattle & Daube Café. 26b Station St, Bancroft, ON K0L 1C0. (Behind the post office at the end of the parking lot) Come for a time of sharing memories in a drop-in setting.
