Peacefully, at Pembroke Regional Hospital, Pembroke, on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Lucia Robins was a loving mother to Scott Robins, Kaite Mosher and son in-law Steve Kilgannon. A devoted grandmother to Dane Reus, Emma and Dominic Robins, Elisa, Gareth, and Abigail Kilgannon. She will be sorely missed by sisters Christina, Jeana, and brother in-law Alan, as well as numerous friends. Lucia worked as a cashier (36yrs) and school bus driver (15yrs) in the Bancroft area. She was a civilian officer for the sea cadets (33yrs), a member and former President of the Bancroft Royal Canadian Legion (32yrs). Her volunteer work for the Bancroft book and sewing clubs and donations of knitted clothing to the hospitals and the Bancroft Pregnancy Care Center will be missed by many. She was a devoted member of the Graphite Bible Chapel, and her faith never wavered. Lucia was an important pillar for the Bancroft community and will be forever missed and loved by many. Lucia’s family will receive relatives and friends at Graphite Bible Chapel (702B Graphite Road, Maynooth) on Saturday, January 07, 2023, from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. A Celebration of Lucia’s life will take place at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Garry Robinson officiating.
