May 12, 1937 – December 31, 2022 On Saturday December 31, 2022, Carl Anderson passed away peacefully at Streamway Villa in Cobourg Ontario at the age of 85. The son of the late Ada and William Robert Anderson, stepson of Donald Parks. He was the brother of the late Stead (Shirley) Anderson and stepbrother of Steven Parks. He spent many wonderful years growing up in L’Amble before moving to Port Hope to raise his family. He returned to his roots and chose to spend much of his retirement years in Bancroft to live on the lake. He was fortunate to love and marry three wonderful women who loved and adored him back. The late Loretta, MaryLou and Ursula Anderson. He will forever be remembered and loved by his children Loretta (Barry) Paeden, Gaetan (Elizabeth) Dubeau, Robert (Laurie) Anderson and Paul (Ken) Anderson-Zahorak, Gord Martin, Richard (Susan) Martin and Brian Martin. Loving Papa for Nicole (Garth), Melissa (Brian), Kyle (Dana), Brandy (Lara), Shawn (Jennifer), Stephanie and Kate (Jason). Great Papa of Erin, Mack, Rowan and Logan. Carl enjoyed spending family time at the cottage in Bancroft and at family gatherings. He always had a project on the go, either at the cottage or one of his children’s homes as he was always there to give advice or a helping hand. Today it is possible for his family to look around our homes and see something that Dad or Papa made for each of us. Carl was an employee of Westinghouse Canada/Zircatec for over 40 years. He was a devoted Red Wings fan from Gordie Howie to Stevie Yzerman through all the highs and lows. The family would like to thank Streamway Villa in Cobourg for their ongoing care, support and kindness, where Carl was treated like family. Cremation has taken place and Carl will be laid to rest with each of his loving wives in Braeside with Loretta, in Port Hope with MaryLou and in Bancroft with Ursula in the spring of 2023.
