It is with great sadness we announce the passing of the proud owner of the Twin E Shop of Whitney for 41 years on Saturday, November 26^th, 2022, in her 83rd year of life at St Francis Memorial Hospital in Barry’s Bay. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Gorgerat (2019). Loved Mother-In-Law to Allen Tompkins of Whitney and Mother to Catherine Tompkins (Darwin) of Bancroft. Dear grandmother to Amanda (Robert) Whyte of Whitney, and Stewart (Jessica) Tompkins of Whitney. Great-grandmother to Hailey, Ciarah, Riley, Freddie, and Mariah. The family will have visitation and a celebration of life on Friday December 9th from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at the St. Martin Of Tours Parish Hall, in Whitney. Funeral services will follow on Saturday December 10th at St. Anthony’s Anglican Church in Whitney at 11:00am. A gratuitous feast will be provided at St. Martin of Tours Hall following the funeral service.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to St Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
