Mullett, Edith Gertrude "Trudy"

Passed peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Hospice North Hastings, Bancroft.  Beloved wife for over 53 years of Charles Mullett  Loving mother of Michael Mullett.  Cherished by her granddaughter Natalie and Natalie’s mother Sarah Garvey.  Trudy was predeceased by her sister Audrey (Eugene) Hietela, her brother Allan Young, Mason (Edith) Young and her brother Don Young.  She was the sister-in-law of Lillian Young, Estella Young, Marlene (Peter) Giblin and Anna (the late Frank) Wilson.  Sister of Ann (Jim) Smith, Ruth (the late Murnie) Dillabough, Phylis (the late Elwood) Mackey, Bill (Jackie) Young and Norman (Heather) Young.  She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews.  Trudy had a special love for the children that she taught at Paudash Elementary School and Bancroft Public School.  Her faith and her church were very important to her.  She was very community minded as she served as president of Anglican Church Women and served on the Centennial Manor Auxiliary.  The family will receive friends and relatives at St. John’s Anglican Church, 21 Flint Ave., Bancroft, ON, on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Michael Bird and Russell Grant presiding.  Interment will take place at a later date at St. John’s Anglican Cemetery in Bancroft.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. John’s Anglican Church or Hospice North Hastings would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
