Suddenly, hunting moose, doing what he loved to do, on Friday, October 07, 2022. Bert Jessup, age 71 of Bancroft, was the loved husband of Brenda (Scott) Jessup. Loving father of Mike Jessup (Jenn) and Matt Jessup (Carissa) all of Bancroft. Grandfather of Kaylee, Kloe, Kassidy, Kaeden, Keaton, Kyle, and Kaelynn. Brother of Jim Jessup (Charlotte), and predeceased by his parents Allen and Hazel Jessup, and his sister Beverly Hardy. Bert was a long-time employee with Murray Brothers Lumber in Madawaska for over 40 years. He loved hunting and fishing and spoiling his grand kids. He will be missed by his many friends. A private family visitation took place, followed by cremation. A Celebration of Bert’s Life will take place at the Madawaska Community Centre (Major Lake Road, Madawaska) on Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
