September 3 1950 - February 14 2009  Peacefully, at his home in Hastings, on Saturday, February 14, 2009.  Ross Emerson Ferguson, in his 59^th year, was the beloved husband of the late Joanna (Drumm) Ferguson (September 2008).  Loved father of Christine Ferguson and her husband David Kerr, Myrna Ferguson and her husband Darrell Lyttle, and Jason Ferguson and his wife Janet.  Loving grandfather of Shannon Ferguson, Matthew Ferguson, Jacob Kerr, Nicholas McInroy, Hunter Kerr and Tyson Lyttle.  Son of the late Wesley and Mabel (Neil) Ferguson.  Brother of  Lois and Ed Ingram, Glenda and Emerson Wannamaker, Donna and the late Bill Phillips, Linda and Larry Carrier, Sherrill Ferguson, Vernon and Shirley Ferguson, Bill Ferguson, and Murray and Heather Ferguson. Ross' family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Bible Chapel (106 Hastings St. N.) on Thursday, February 19, 2009 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.  A Celebration of Ross’ life will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark McCready officiating.  Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
