Bobby’s strength and courage carried him through until he passed away, peacefully, in his 69th year with his family by his side, on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Belleville General Hospital.  Bobby will be remembered by his wife of 45 years Carol, (daughter of Bill and Pat Green Sr.).   A Loving proud father to Lee (Ashley), Justin (Marsha), and Brodie (Kerri).   A Very Proud Grandpa-Bobby to, Dawson, Ben, Tommy, Claire, Nolan, Owen, and Landon.  Brother to, Dianne (David), Jimmy (Theresa), Monty (Brenda) predeceased by Eric and parents Eunice and Frank Douglas.  Fondly remembered by in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Bobby worked as a custodian with Hastings Prince Edward District School Board. A volunteer at the Maynooth Rink and Fire Department for many years. Bobby spent his days touring Maynooth visiting his many friends. Bobby impressed us all in his last year working for Hastings Highlands Township.  Bobby enjoyed his days in at Spike Lake Hunting Camp, overlooking the lake, keeping the fire stoked, and the tractor running. An avid outdoorsman. He will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious grin, and a twinkle in his eyes.  Bobby’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Thursday 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A Graveside service will take place at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Cemetery (51 Hwy #127, Maynooth) on Friday, September 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev.
