Peacefully, at his home, on Saturday, February 07, 2009. Elvin Wilson age 87, was the beloved husband of Marlene (Sleeper) (Sutherland) Wilson of Baptiste Lake Road. Loving father of Eleanor, Bobby, Debbie, Bonnie, Marvin, Chyrl and Sheila. Loved grandfather and great-grandfather. Survived by three brothers, and predeceased by 9. Elvin’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Bancroft Pentecostal Church (311 Hastings St. N., Bancroft) on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Elvin will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Stephen Heathcock officiating. Interment will take place at Faraday United Cemetery, in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice North Hastings would be appreciated by the family.
