Peacefully, at Moira Place Long Term Care, Tweed, on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Verla Musclow, age 89, formerly of Maynooth, was the beloved wife of John (Jack) Musclow. Loving mother of Iner Musclow (Susan), Linda Parks (Keith), Elaine Allison, Wes Musclow (Lori), Bob Musclow (Michelle), Valerie Foster (Mike), Carol Scott (Merele), and the late Bordon. Musclow. Loved grandmother of Sara (Rob), Holly (Matt), Nathan (Courtney), Jordan (Julie), Phillip (Stephanie), Keaton (Emily), Kody (Crystal), Eric (Roxanne), Colin (Christina), Jenna (Derek) and Katie (Mike). Great-grandmother of Gavin, Lilly, Hazel, Oliver, Jessica, Luke and Raia. Sister and sister-in-law of Florence Musclow (Mel), Hilda Jepsen, Alice Roper (Chuck), Edna Woods, and Charlie Musclow (Carol). Predeceased by her son-in-law Randy Allison, her sister Erma, and her brothers Wes, Ted, Meryl, Harry, and Gordon. Verla was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law Peter, Jerry, Bob (Gwen), Hugh (Anne), Fred (Marie), Amy (Jim), and Lizzy (Stan). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many friends. Verla’s family will receive relatives and friends at the M.G. Daly Funeral Home (200 Old Hastings Road, Maynooth) on Monday, June 20, 2022, from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Garry Robinson officiating, with interment at Grace Cemetery, Maynooth.
