We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Mike on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at the age of 68, in Peterborough. Mike will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his sister, Patti Donahue of Almonte, his beloved grandson, Greg Attard of Bowmanville, and his very special cousin, Dianne Rutledge of Peterborough. He is predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Dorothy Flynn. Mike will be sadly missed by his many friends and numerous cousins. Mike was employed with General Motors in Oshawa for over 30 years and retired to Peterborough. He was born in Niagara Falls and was raised in Bancroft. The family will receive friends and relatives for a Celebration of Life at the Army, Navy and Air Force Hall (55 ANAF Road, Maynooth, Ontario) on Saturday, June 4th at 11:00 a.m. Mike suffered with COPD for many years and donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
