Passed peacefully on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in Barry’s Bay, Ontario. Martha Barney. aged 79, was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Stephen Barney (2021). Loving mother of Ivan Barney of Combermere and Stacey Lay (Jason) of Canon Beach, Oregon. Grandmother of Alison Anderson (Lay) of California and Isaac Lay of Arizona. Sister of Carol Roland of Denver. Colorado and the late Nancy Reinertsen (2022) of Apex, North Carolina. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and friends. Cremation has taken place. As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services at this time. A celebration of the life she shared with her late husband, Joe, is planned for later in the year. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
