Peacefully, at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, on Friday, January 02, 2009. Murray Linkert, age 87 of Wilberforce, was the beloved husband of the late Helen Hannah (Kruk) Linkert (November/08). Loved father of Cheri-Lynn Sutherland (Keenan), Christine Wilson, Kelly Linkert-Blair (Kevin Cutting), Jim Linkert, Bob Linkert (Sandy), Larry Linkert (Janet), and the late Rick Linkert. Loved grandfather of Bobby and Michelle, Wanita, Alison, Sean, Christopher, Tina, Dean, Jeff, Stephanie, Ryan and Matthew. Great-grandfather of Abigale, Emily and Sophie. Predeceased by his brothers Jack and Roy, and his sister Elsie. At Murray’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place at Lakefield Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G. Daly Funeral Home, Maynooth.
