Barbara Louise Wilson (Zavitz) in her 84th year, of Bancroft Ontario passed away on January 22, 2022 peacefully, with family around her. Louise was born on April 3, 1937 in Strathroy, Ontario to Amy and Ward Zavitz. Sister to Helen (Lynn) Clark. After graduation, Louise married John Keith “Chip” Wilson in 1957 who pre-deceased her in 1988. Louise is survived by her children Dennis Keith “Tex” (Wendy), David Ward “Work” (Sandy), Penny Louise "Pep" (Kevin), Amy Lou “Boo” (Chris). Deeply missed by her Grandchildren Tanya (Cristian), Cody, Jennifer, Garrett, Derek (Sarah), Brent (Lindsay), Craig (Sindi), Boo’s fur babies. Great Grandchildren Morgan, Brodie, Aubree, Adian. Louise enjoyed riding horses, and had a lovely passionate voice when she sang. She could also be found reading a really good book, at any time. And to those who knew her and loved her, her memory will never grow old. Many special thanks to her Bancroft neighbours, and the staff at Bancroft Hospital. Cremation has taken place. There will not be visitation or a service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society or H.A.R.T. (Highland Animal Relief Team) would be appreciated by the family.
