Born on the 23rd of September, 1963 in Fort Wayne, Indiana U.S.A., Charlene Joann Eversole currently of Belleville, Ontario, passed away peacefully due to complications of COVID-19 on December 24, 2021 in Brockville, Ontario, at Brockville General Hospital at the age of 58. Charlene is predeceased by both of her parents, her father Charles Eversole, when she was 18 years old, and her mother Anna Eversole when she was only 4 years old. They are now finally reunited. Charlene is survived by her husband of 14 years, Larry Lewis, her brother, Charles Eversole Jr., (Debbie Teets), her children Brianna Fry (Carmen Witty) and Adam Fry, and her beloved grandchildren, Bentley Meens, Noah Fry and Mila Parks, as well as many cherished family and friends from both Canada and the U.S. Charlene was an open and proud member of N.A., with five and a half years of sobriety, but her most proud and favourite roll was being “Mamaw” to her three grandchildren, Bentley, Noah and Mila. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date due to Covid-19 restrictions. Charlene, standing only 4 feet 5 inches in height, had a voice and presence that would exceed a skyscraper. Always the most heard/seen in any crowd, her presence will be greatly missed. A few months prior to contracting the COVID-19 virus, Charlene suffered a massive heart attack that by all rights, should have taken her life. She fought hard to stay with us just a little bit longer. She was living on borrowed time, but we were grateful for that little bit of extra time we got to have with her.
