Passed peacefully on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Valley Manor Long Term Care Facility in Barry’s Bay at the age of 97. Son of William and Hattie Byers. Brother of Hertha Bradley (Sam), Lawrence (Lena), Gordon (Tina), Wilbert (Gladys), Melva Marquette (Albert), Rosie Parisien (Baptiste), Beatrice Swinwood (Morley), and infant brother Delton. Leonard will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place with interment to take place in the spring of 2022 at Papineau Lake Cemetery. A special thank you to all the care-givers at the Valley Manor who helped Leonard in his peaceful transition.
