Peacefully, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, Barry’s Bay, on Monday, October 11, 2021. Ellard Ziebarth, age 85 of Hardwood Lake, was the beloved husband for 62 years of Freda (nee Weichenthal). Father of Penny (Donald) and the late Rhonda. Paw to grandchildren Brandon (Mellissa), Dylan (Selena), and Nicholas (Taiya), and great-grandchildren Denver and Paislee. Son of the late Arthur and Hulda Ziebarth. Son-in-law of the late Andrew and Mamie Weichenthal. Brother of Cora (Wesley). Predeceased by his sister Maita (Wallace), brothers Carl (Hulda), Verner, Herbert (Rita), Hugo and infant brother. He will be dearly missed by his family, in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. Ellard’s family will receive relatives and friends at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church (786 County Road 514, Schutt) on Sunday evening 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Monday October 18, 2021, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Randy Liedtke officiating. Interment at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Cemetery, Schutt. Due to COVID-19, strict visitation and service restrictions (mask wearing, social distancing, and guest contact tracing) will be in place.
