Passed peacefully on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Beloved Husband of Marie (nee Roy). Loved Father of Leroy (Jane), Wanita (Kirk) Gunter and Elroy. Grandfather of Jessica, Justin, Michael and Kurtis. Great-Grandfather of Jayce. Brother of George and pre-deceased by Victor. Brother-in-law of Fred (The late Candice), Harold (Beryl), Doug, Herman (Landa), Lenna Minnie (the late Martin) and Charlie. He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews. Mike was a long-time employee of John Inglis Appliances as an inspector. Marie and Mike celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on September 24, 2021. He will be sadly missed and will live forever in our hearts. The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at Community Fellowship Baptist Church, 29754 Hwy 62, Bancroft, ON. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Wes Hill presiding. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Bancroft. Due to COVID-19, strict visitation and service restrictions will be in place. Masks, social distancing and contact tracing.
