We are sad to announce Wallace (Wally) King passed away peacefully on July 10, 2021 at QHC North Hastings Hospital at the age of 70. He joins his mother Georgina, father Edward, sisters Audrey and Margaret, brothers Tracy, Russell and Henry. Wally grew up in St Ola and later moved to Bancroft. He worked odd jobs over the years and was always willing to help others. He was most proud of his job as a crossing guard ensuring students safety while crossing the street. Wally had many challenges in the last few years, but he was always smiling and found time to be there for his family and friends who along with nieces, nephews and cousins will miss his kindness and witty conversation. As per Wally’s wishes, there will be no service, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Meals on Wheels - Care North Hastings or North Hastings Community Cupboard would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
