Peacefully, at the Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on Tuesday, April 06, 2021. Jim Knight, age 71, was the beloved husband of Violet (Grant) Knight of Bancroft. Loving stepfather of Dawson (Nancy) Mountney, Christine (Dean) Coates and Jason (Jess) Bandy. Loved grandfather of 7 grandchildren. Brother of Bill (Grace) Knight, Maureen Knight, and brother-in-law of Ralph Grant. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many friends. Jim was a well-known real estate agent in the Bancroft area for many years, and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. There will be no visitation or funeral services at this time. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society – Relay for Life would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
