With sad and broken hearts, we share our loss of Bernard, who died suddenly on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in Ottawa General Hospital at the age of 66.  Bernard was the loving brother of Betty Anne (Alex), Susanne (Dave), Marguerite (Brian), Terry and Tim.

 Bernard will be lovingly missed and fondly remembered by his aunts and uncles along with his nieces and nephews who he adored:  Brandon, Ian, Lindsay, Alyshia, Jeremiah, Annette, Marika, Jenny, Justin and Joshua.  He was a great uncle to Hayden and Forrest.

 Bernard joined his parents, Florian and Mary, in eternal life on their wedding anniversary.  He was also predeceased by his sister-in-law, Donna.

 Bernard was a kind, gentle and loving soul who was a real character that loved to laugh and tell stories.

 A private family visitation has taken place.  In the spring of 2021, once COVID19 restrictions are eased, a mass will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Whitney and Bernard will be laid to rest at St. Martin’s Cemetery in Whitney.
