Peacefully, at his home in Bancroft, on Thursday, December 31, 2020.  Edward Bowers, age 76, was the cherished spouse of Lenna Minnie.  Loved father of Sheri Bowers and Sean Bowers (Katrina).  Loving grandfather of Dion, Tyler, Nia, Carter, and Jaxon.  Son of the late Agnes and Edward Bowers of Whitney.  Brother of Viola Laginski, Joe Bowers, Joan and Rick Lee, Cheryl Stewart, and brother-in-law Trevor Castle.  Edward was predeceased by his sister Edna Castle and sister-in-law Catherine Bowers.  Uncle to Kim, Melanie, Glen, Stephanie, Derek, Warren, Kristen, and Cheyenne.  A private family visitation has taken place.  Visitation and a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Whitney, followed by burial in St. Martin of Tours Catholic Cemetery in the spring of 2021.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice North Hastings would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to M.G.
