Peacefully, at the Madawaska Valley Hospice, Barry’s Bay, after a very brief illness, on Sunday, November 08, 2020. Lana Levean, age 74 of Whitney, was the beloved mother and grandmother of Craig, Kris, Cheryl (Bernie), Shelby (Craig) Breena and Brett. Predeceased by her husband Donald and her son Kent. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Millie Darraugh (Dick), Clinton Holmberg (Phillis), Ralph Holmberg (Esther), Doreen Holmberg, Marguerite Levean, Gib and Cathy Levean, Pat and Pam Levean, Arthur and Cecile Levean, Marjorie Holmberg and Jack Kuiack. Lana also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will take place at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Cemetery, (Hwy 127, McCoy Lake, Whitney) on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Malachy Ekezie presiding. Due to COVID-19, strict visitation and service restrictions will be in place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Madawaska valley Hospice in Barry’s Bay, would be appreciated by the family. There are no words to express how much we are going to miss you. As sad as we are, we will find a way to smile knowing you are reunited with Dad and Kent. The family would like to thank the Madawaska Valley Hospice for their kindness and support to Mom and our family. It will always be remembered. |
